The present system of democracy is fucked die to $$$$$$$$$ donations and lobbyists. No matter who you vote for the rewards go to whoever funds the campaign. I do believe however before mass media it was slightly better as disinformation was not as rife. me personally do not see much difference between Labor and Liberal, they certainly try to make it they are worlds apart, but reality? A recent example id Albo had the chance with Robodebt and NACC non disclosure to 'man up' and expose Morrison and Co. But no, the Canberra club and 'untouchable' politicians kicked in no matter what side.

Sorry reggie but you're talking to the son of Italian immigrants who went to public school in the 60s and 70s. You may not be old enough to know that in those times "wog" was fighting words, and being the only "wog" at picnic point high school gave me a very unique and constant insight into what real racism is. I never screamed racism at the top of my lungs like they do today. I hardened up, knuckled down and got on with life which is what you whining lunatic lefties who never had to put up with racism should do.
My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity.

No need to apologise. I went to to primary school in the 80's in an inner city suburb that was mainly working class immigrants. Mostly Italian, Greek, the various Yugsoslav countries, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean etc. Anglos like me were not a majority.

But I saw a lot of racism and I don't think the answer is just to harden up and accept it. Needs to be pointed out more than anything. You do you, but I'm talking on behalf of a lot of friends.
