    Shop advertisement and business

I've noticed some shops like Marrickville No.5 and Ginza like to post their daily rosters several times a day on wechat, whereas places like CBD and Mirage will post 1-2 times a day.

Is there any correlation between number of advertisements/posts and business? Does posting more mean lack of business and posting less means they have enough business?

I would say it depends on their customer cohort. A lot of ginza customers are chinese who use wechat. The people who use wechat might have hundreds of people who post shit to moments. Very easy to get flooded and drowned out. So posting multiple times a day keeps that brand awareness up.

If you are aus local and only use wechat for punting and have not a lot of moment posts from friends, then its easy to get exposure and only need to post once a day.

It's just like shops commenting on the AR's. It bumps them to the top of your moments. Don't overthink being at the top of the list for lazy punters.

Number of bumping up posts only means how lazy or hard working their ads managers are. Nothing related to business.

More about timing of bumping in terms of website traffic

There is no direct correlation. Many businesses promote themselves and spend huge on advertisement - does that mean business isn't going good? It doesn't

Yes, even CocaCola or SmithChips spend big on advertisements.

    Brand awareness.
