Agree....Philipino call centres train their staff to speak with different accents eg American, UK, French, Italian etc. I don't mind the fake Filo-American accent (easy to understand) but I do struggle with Indian and Arabic call centres, their accents are strong and hard to understand.

So companies are turning to voice changing AI technology to mask thick accents.

I have worked with a few Japanese girls who have strong American accents.

They had either lived/studied there, or been to an ELS in Japan with American teachers.

Don’t mind me. I’ve got OCD about a girl’s verbal sound. I can’t get turned on by a whole lot of them. Hate Malaysian accent, Viet accent. I thought I hated Thai accent too but I’ve been turned by the lovely Porya from MOC.

Actually never tried getting it on with a Filo girl before, maybe I might like it, lol. There was a girl at work who seemed keen but I didn’t pursue it because I couldn’t stand the accent. In hindsight, maybe I should’ve given it a shot!
