I got a threatening PM from the troll today, it has turned its PMs off, so here is my response to it:
If the people you have threatened (Christmas and Babycat) are harmed or suspect they are being watched in any way I will forward your PM to the police. The forum has records of your IP address for all your accounts so it won't be hard for the police to find you. Using a VPN wont help you either.
If there are legit threats then you should go to the cops
Yes I recieved a similar message, and in the interest of the safety of the users he threatened, have complied with his wishes for now.
The situation has become serious because threats have been made and I don't want to take the situation lightly. I would urge all users to report any suspicious activity to admin immediately.
To the user who sent the threats, police will be notified and your account investigated, and any evidence will be used against you in a court of law, if any crime is committed. I would also strongly recommend seeking a mental health professional for councilling immediately.

I would think that would be a very reasonable demand, welcomed by most here.
Not knowing what tools the forum provides to the Mods, but as well as collecting IP addresses, (even if using a VPN likely to be a similar range), also worth collecting other info like Browser User Agent and a few other fingerprints -- might help identifying other entries
