    Hotels in CBD

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows a relatively clean/nice hotel in sydney CBN (preferablly close to Town Hall) that offers accommodation for couple of hours only? Just too lazy to make a number of calls and don't really like the Love Shacks Hotel on Pitt St! Thanks!!!!

Metro on Pitt has some Spa rooms as well if you are into some water sports fun........haha

If you want to use the hourly rate, most of the airport hotels do, but may be too far for you.

Hotel closest to Town Hall is the Grace, but they are close to $200 a shot,

    Cheers

Been working at a Sydney hotel for a while now. It's hard pressed trying to get a room by the hour but some do offer what's called "Day rates". Usually a minimum of say 2-4 hours at about $25-$50 an hour. 4-5 star generally is at the top end of the scale.
Call them and ask about it.

Thanks mate, it's interesting if compared to Asian countries where it's much more common to have an hourly rate... I guess the demand must be really low

I'm interested in "day use" rates for the whole of normal working hours, and have found that most hotels are willing but say that whether they can offer you a room at all, and at what rate, depends on how busy they are the night before and the night after. You can get into 4 and 5 star hotels, if everything works out, for less than $200.

The Spa roon in this place is just a bath tub with spa, and the hotel is border line of 4 star.....too old. Only thing good is its price and location.

Suggest you try the secret hotel in lastminute and wotif. They are are quite good.

Hint: there is a wotif secret hotel, 4.5 star the hint was close to paddys, china town and darling harbour. That one is actually Citigate. $145 for room and sometime with parking speical then cost 160. Bear in mind if you book through secret hotel deals then you are not gaurrantee a king bed.
