Forum very slow

Is anyone else finding the forum has been VERY slow for the last few days?
Lots of timeouts?

Yes, like it is offline,
I thought it was my new network

Seems to have recovered now

and back to slow, but not glacial like it was before

Sorry for the slow performance.

Our server was being attacking since sat
We were being hitted 50000 times per min from 2 particular ips since sat.

Data centre told me it's around 1000 per second hits per mins from them

They keep calling our server with random different port number and end up drains all the server cpu and connections

Data centre is working closely to this issue.


Hope everyone can be patient and we hope to have this resolved asap

Thought it might have been something like that, or you had been rehosted somewhere smaller.

Odd it is coming from just 2 IP addresses, would expect your host would have just banned them.

We been with the same data centre more than 10 years and we been even paid double for better CPU and server July last year

Some people do it for fun, else ransom (pay us to stop), or paid by a competitor, or vigilante or just practice for more lucrative targets.
