How long does it take to be posted?

When I post before, it doesnt show in 5mins but today when i checked my post has went up. Im wondering how long does it take to be posted. Is it because im new here?

Yeah I had that. Early posts would be quite a time lag but now it is instant. Maybe they just check out the new members.

Admin must check that your post is correct.... and does not contain for example:
- foul language
- person attacks
- spam
- sensitive information (personal info, phone numbers, etc.)

Usually happens with new users.

it's designed to get ride of the dickheads and spammers. If you have a reputation of making intelligent ad respectful posts then expect to come off 'moderation" sooner. it's a standard forum process for many respectable forums.

I think it was the first five posts (or so) that was slow, guess they have to be reviewed by Moderator for spam; after which should be instant.

Those posts that haven’t appeared means they will never appear, because they’re meaningless, just for the purpose to bump up post counts.

Not sure if it was there earlier and I just didnt notice, but at 7 posts I saw the option to Quick Reply. It posts immediately.

It does post quickly, does this mean posts aren't 'moderated' anymore or was that never the case?

Quick Reply's are instant, so they can't be moderated before they appear. The posts that are delayed could be moderated.

I would expect that you would already have the ability to quick reply. I had it when I only had 7 posts. You've already made 14. Check below the Reply To Thread button, is there a Quick Reply box?

For me it seems that after 5 posts it posts automatically without admin having to give it the ok.

Made a number of posts, though only 1 has appeared. Had thought they were relevant as opposed to just for getting to 50 as quick as .

So you get an automated reply, indicating will be posted once moderated. You don’t get a response to say if a post has been bounced?
