I never punt in Melbourne, we just dont have the quality or variety you find in Sydney. Sure there are a number fo full service places, but nothing like whats on offer up North.

I think the main reason why the Melbourne forum is so quiet is due to the lack of shop advertisers from Melbourne ! = no shop and girl information, no roster and stuff like that, hence the no action, no post and no traffic situation we are in now!

But I think the fact that Admin is recruiting representatives in Melbourne and Brisbane is the step to the right direction.

If I were the Aus99 admin, I will offer any shop in Melbourne and Brisbane a free one month trial and I don't think any shop will say no to that, then if they can see the increase in business then I am sure they will continue as paying advertisers! By the way, it's very easy to measure if the web page advertising is effective: list a separate mobile number for booking which they set up specifically for Aus99, everytime that phone rings they know it's because of the forum !! And if it rings 10 times a day, bingo !!

The punting scenes in Melbourne must be as busy as in Sydney, all those horny melbournians who all have needs !!

Pretty much agree with this comment. While I occasionally punt in Melbourne, there isn't quite the quality or variety as there is in Sydney. Its generally more expensive as well i.e. no shops at the $150/160 per hour price range. The stricter laws also mean no agencies like MOC either. Shame, as there is obviously a massive market down south.

The Tope street shops are popular and can be good, nothing compared to a Ginza though!!

I have tried 466 City Road as I am staying up the road, its was allright punt but its nothing compared to home(i.e sydney). I might pass the others as I am here for few days... but when you in the room there is all the posters about the raids, safety and all that jazz :confused2: its probably taken the fun...
