It would be much nicer if the forum let you search for three letter words.. eg.. Mia, Eva, CBJ.. etc. Of course filter out common ones like "the" & "and" - which it already does.. Does anyone else find this annoying?

Agreed, if you search with multiple words I thought it ignores the 3 letter word still

Adding agreement.
Ivy, Amy, Ice, Nin...

There’ll be at least 20 pages of the search results, what’s the point !

Yeah 3 letter searches are needed. The other day someone directed me to 104 Artarmon when I asked a ‘where are they now Q’, but I didn’t know name of shop and can’t search 104 which is annoying,

3 letter searches work fine, you need to throw in a wildcard
search for Ivy*
or Ice*
Kat*

its fine

If you add * to the three letter word it should bring up results

That’s news to me! Thanks for sharing. I have always been using Google to do search for less than three characters. i.e. ivy site://aus99forum.com

That's really helpful, thanks!

I’ve found if you put “ “ around more than one word the searches work. But it would be good to be able to select search results to show posts with your search word. Otherwise some threads are very long and so it can be hard to find your search term
