hey bros been so long since i talked on the forum, well as the title says it may give u an insight of what im about to say.

so as a safe punter we should take a sti test once in a while. this is what i was doing, just exercising my duty.

so a few days ago i went to see a local gp to get tested this is what happened.

walked into room

me: how are you doc?

doctor: (no reply)

doctor: so whats the problem?

me: i just want an sti test

doctor: really? have u been having some problems down there recently?

me: not really but just want to be safe

doctor: do you have any symptoms of an sti?

me: not really, but i just want a test

doctor: (starting to talk in a bad attitude) why are you comming to get a test if you got no symptoms?

me: well i just want to make sure i am safe

doctor: you are wasting my time!, why would you come and see a doctor if you are feeling fine.

alright here is when i start making some stuff up

me: well recently my friends took me to a brothel so thats why i want a test

doctor: what are you doing there at your age?!! were you having protected sex?

me: ye it was protected.

i felt like saying "wtf man just give me a test and shutup". but i didnt want to be rude to the doctor.

doctor: if it was protected the chances of you getting infected are very low.....

me: can i just get a test?

doctor: *sigh* you are wasting my time!

wtf at this doctor!!!! i just walked out the door made an appointment with a different doctor for the next day, that doc was fine gave me a test and ye.

does this doctor have adhd or something?

I used to go to the Macquarie Street Sexual Health Clinic, but the parking in the city sucks. The waiting room is full of Asian hookers which makes me want to punt. I also used to go to the Albion St clinic which was good because it's full of gay AIDS bags, and seeing them scared caution in me. The Albion centre has changes it's policy and only tests if yo say you've had man on man.

Just go to a large bulk billing medical centre and get the business done. Quick, easy, convenient and if anyone sees you in the waiting room it's no drama.

Unfortunately you have to more blunt with them just say you have a few unprotected sex and that will speed up and get you tested :) because people go to see a doctor when they have a problem but the media is not really seeing what the doctor is seeing. The media wanted us to get check and sure we doo too, but most doctors are busy and some get annoy so best to say your having a few regular sex partner unprotected and started to get itchy, this is the symple way.

Your Dr needs to see a shrink find yourself another Dr. For a sex health check your better going to one of the specialist sexual health clinics the ones at the major hospitals are free and you don't even have to use your own name if you don't want to. Have a check done every 6 months if your punting regularly.

well hes not really my doctor, he was a random gp with a highly unexpected attitude, as i don't want to see my regular gp to save embarrassment. i cant be bothered goin far away to the sexual health hospitals.

Some doctors are like that... Asking a simple blood test to check cholesterol level need to go through some hassle. Once I tell the doctor i just wanna do a general check up basically doc just ask me if you are feeling fine dont need a blood test. i got tested a few weeks ago by my local GP and had no problems at all. Happy to say i don,t have Hep c or Ghonorea or Chlymidea or HVi or Herpes or anything else :smile:

Look guys there ARe Doctors out there who think they can be Social workers or something. I broke my LEG in a freak Accident. Could not se my personal GP. Instead of just giving me a perscription for more pain killers the 2nd X-ray he want me ot think about why tihs happend and how in future I will see Blah blah etc. Sorry if your offend but I was about to punch this dumb fucking Indian CUNT OUT.

I saw my GP next two days Told me he's a TOOL and should not bother about a back story. Doctors are there to Treat the problem. Not to worry about the other crap. My Docotr I know has some Religious belives I guess but I don't think he practices them. It's all Just plain - whats the issue lets fix it best way for you. He told me no doctor has Right to know what you do how you do it. Even a Solicitor mate told me, If you like Fucking men women - animals - Rubber hoses. It got nothing to do with them. It only becomes an issue if you have a dangerous infection. But even Aids and HIV are considered private matters, only those who are in need to know need to know.

If you want a STI test - you just ask for one. I want a blood test and to be tested for ETC ETC. I do personally every 3 months, mainly because I'm in a indusrty that requires clean people and High risk job for contamination. Plus I like ot keep an eye on my sugar levels etc.
