Hey guys

I was just wondering about something, which is one of my biggest fears with punting.

Has anyone ever been busted and caught out as a punter?

This can include

- Spotted at an establishment
- Wife /gf found evidence, eg phone sms messages to shop etc, membership cards etc
- Private conversation overheard
- Internet sites on browser (including this one!)
- Credit card bill (only got yourself to blame there)
- other methods...

Thankfully, i haven't been busted, but I wouldn't ever want to be. It would be good to get more info to cover our tracks.

Here's a true story for you guys. The closest I've come to being busted.
I once sent a text message meant for a massage parlour, instead to my (female)friend! By a miracle, I was able to recover my tracks.
The message read 'Have you got 20 minutes?'
When my friend replied, I said I needed to tell her about something!

It really was miraculous I had enough space to recover!

Actually, in my earlier days, I had a secret 'punting wallet'.

This contained

- about $500 cash
- Loyalty/ membership cards ( many had half a dozen stamps)
- Condoms

They could have just given customer a small card with a number on it, and the card reads 316/227/JK/5 stars Japanese Hair Salon! and the shop keeps a record of visits, and remind customer how many more visits to go before redeeming when they visit the shop!

When the punter visits, they have the complete history and they can build a profile of what the punter likes and suggest any new ML/WL for their next visit. This is a better system than a membership card! No risk of being busted carrying any incriminating evidence!

Great point! I had loyalty cards for both M8 and Chicago. I had up to 10 stamps on both at a time!

I know, I freaked out when I realised it was sent to her! I just got a new phone and was still unsure how things worked. But after thinking 'S$&te, I'm done for!', I realised that it actually wasn't incriminating and I could spin my way out of it!

Why would you want to use your cards when you go to a RNT and FS shop? With so many ATM's around, just use cash and there will be no paper trails or the need to explain why you purchased certain items. So simple. :cool2:
