When you bet on line and with multiple legs, the betting site gives you a lot of options:

For example:

If you have three legs, apart from the all ups, you can also bet on the 3 individual winner, or have 3 different running doubles like 1-2, 1-3 or 2-3.

The more legs you have the morr options available, in Bro Mate's case, when he has 5 legs, he would have betted the all ups plus 5 different ways of 4 legs ,

Sometimes I think it's strange people still bet other than with betfair..
They have the best odds available in the market. Even after taking into account the commission they charge.. Betfair is not a bookie, they are betting exchange. Except their multiples.
That's why they charge 5% commission on your net profit, that can be reduced if you have points..

And I am on 3.0% commission. The account manager rang me, I request for 2.0% commission and they declined.
They also send me login password to access some special form guide and some tickets for events such as football match

bet365 is best for NBA, NHL, type events.
There is BONUS for more legs double up, from 5% up to 50% from your winnings.

No I think Travelmate was on the money, only problem is he can't control the teams that play that night. Both teams decided to run up scoring instead of playing a good defensive game which resulted in all of us losing. Chin up as you only lose when you can bet no more. Towards the end of the basketball season it gets a lot easier to pick winners and that's when the real money pours in.

I figured my question out. Betting system 3 for 8 legs equals 56 combinations. On a $100 investment, doesnt that equal less than $2 per ticket, so even if you get some wins, would it generate around $200 in profits? Unless my calculations here are incorrect.

I had $200 all up on Foxwedge into More Joyous ($7000 profit) but also had $200 Foxwedge into Rangirangdoo which was beaten a bee's dick and would've got me $40,000 profit. I really thought Foxwedge was a great chance and the price was incredible. I had him in 3 other doubles (all $200 too) but the 2nd leg was no good (Snitzerland, Huegill and Parables). But good to have 5 doubles running on Saturday all for pretty decent money - if all of them won, i collect over $100,000 for $1000 outlay.

Therefore most of the time i put on multi bets in my basketball bet on bet365 web.
If you choose 4 legs, and have multiples 11 ways, you will be in front if 3 legs are winning.
Same theory apply to 5 legs.
I found this very hard to win more than 5 legs, it is better to have 2 or 3 tickets of your selections (say 6 selections) spread out. This is less risk overall.
Just my 2 cents.

If I have bad runs, I will stop for a week or so. Never chase mad and hard and thinking about get back all money at once.

My last rule is: NEVER gamble the whole pool of your money in a single bet or 2. You will lose all.

Yeah I won 3 out of 5 parlays which is above the required 28% mark to break even. The two that I lost was because of Over/Under not spreads so I gotta be more careful with these. Lakes & Suns are looking fantastic to my disappointment, hopefully 3rd and 4th will be less exciting.

The safe bet would be on the lefty, Phil Mickelson as he's a former masters champion.

Louis Oosthuizen is another major champion so he might be worth a punt.
Matt Kuchar's not too far off the lead..

I would choose one of those 3 but golf is probably the most difficult sport to bet on.
