Jia Yi (桃园) KTV reopened on 29/03/12 after minor renovations. So far my test runs have proven to be quite successful.

Hostess strength is approximately 300 on weekdays and 500 on weekends. Majority of the hostesses are in the 3•7•10 category.

Beverage prices are slightly cheaper than Mayflower (万怡) KTV.

From DJs to hostesses the service level is very good when compared to other popular KTVs. Hostess quality is better than Mayflower KTV. Many bros are very satisfied and surprised of the outcome as well.

Reminds me of my virgin trip to Jia Yi (桃园) KTV when I first visited CP many years ago. Hostesses are very attentive and fun. Not stuck up. In general the DJs and hostesses are more willing to please the customer on the whole.

I believe many bros started out their mongering career at Jia Yi (桃园) KTV when it was opened back in the mid 2000s. I'm sure it'll bring back a lot of nostalgic memories when they revisit this KTV again!

Keep up the good work Jia Yi (桃园) KTV! Jia Yi/Mayflower's boss really know how to do business by re-inventing itself again.

Yesterday was rehearsal and most hostesses are dressed in swimsuit costume.

SUMMARY: In general the BBS scene in Shenzhen, Changping and Zhuhai is nothing like when compared to 4 years ago.
Authorities are trying very hard to exterminate these low end monger places as it's too in your face and open unlike the Saunas and KTVs.
One thing for sure is the BBS price in Shenzhen and Zhuhai remained the same throughout all these years!
In 2008 it was ¥130 (Short Time). In 2012 it's still ¥130 (Short Time).
BBS price in Changping is way overpriced. Currently ¥250 (Short Time) at Swan Lake Road (Tian E Hu) BBS.
There're cheaper (lesser than ¥100) BBS places in CP but I shall not go into that as the quality is below 5/10.

Nonetheless some of the Shenzhen BBS stocks are generally very attractive and good quality.
In Changping those Eurasia (Ou Ya)/Yi Hao KTV category 3-7-10 hostesses pales in comparision which is mostly 5.5-6/10 in looks.
So enjoy these last few remaining sparodic pockets of cheap BBS in South China while it lasts!

Not just Danshui but a lot of other places cannot be compared to Changping as well.
You cannot use Changping as a benchmark.
Each place is unique and has its own flavour.
Danshui's main clientele are locals and Shenzhen residents.

Huizhou City and Danshui KTV girls are less "commercial" and encounter less international tourists.
Hostess sitting fee from ¥200-300. DJ tip from ¥200.
When I started going to Danshui during 2009.
DJ tip is only ¥100 at Jin Ding KTV! :eek:

Dongguan Saunas are the most technical and offer lots of gimmicks.
There're countless Saunas in the whole of Danshui. More than Changing.
Most Danshui Sauna establishments are small, less gimmicks and have lesser girls but gems can still be found.
Price is cheaper than Dongguan Saunas.
Price from ¥300. 100min. 2 shots.
Used to be even cheaper!

[FOOD]
Did a lot of reece recently not just on entertainment but food as well.
There're a lot of food stalls along 长安南路.
Notably Claypot porridge stalls and surprisingly a Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice stall.
Location is behind this bus stop 第六小学站 on 长安南路.

For those that have high standards and expectations then Danshui is not for you.
I feel Danshui is somethng like Changping in the early 2000s.
Currently Danshui is relatively cheaper (accomodation), efficient (every corner has a Sauna) and a laid back feel.

Due to the crackdown in Dongguan especially Changping.
Danshui has become a backup venue for many mongerers especially the Taiwanese.
The Shenzhen residents must be damn pissed with the current spill over from Changping. Hahaha. :D
Taiwanese agent is enjoying very brisk business at the moment.
I'm sure when the storm in Dongguan is over Danshui will revert to its former laid back self.
Danshui is the closest replication and younger brother of Changping.

If the Taiwanese can see value in Danshui then there must be some truth in it.
They're always the pioneers when it comes to discovering new places to have fun.

Just last night at Mayflower KTV, Gong An came again and did their routine checks on every floor.
They went to an opposite KTV room facing mine.
They'll randomly choose a room to inspect.
I asked the girls to get out of the room to hide first and return 30min later.
I assured to them don't worry we'll not run tips. :p
When the girls returned we continued the party and left around 11pm.
有惊无险. Hehehe. :D

If Gong An really come in KTV room and inspect.
Ask DJ to get some tea for the whole Gong An gang and cooperate fully and be polite to them.
They're just doing their job.

Most importantly stay low profile.
Break into small groups and different rooms to party.
Don't do drugs, gamble and strip in KTV rooms.

Nobody can say when the crackdown will end unless you're the top guy issuing the order.
From the looks of it I'll not be surprise if this drags on to August. :cool:

Royal Garden (Di Hao) Hotel at Dalang Town is a 5 Star Hotel opened in 2006.
It has weathered many big storms before but alas the almighty has fallen.

70 plus Dalang Town Gong An were mobilised for this raid.
68 masseuses and mongers in total were arrested in this early morning operation.

According to People's Republic of China Law on public security administration punishments the following consequences for an individual providing or engaging sex service are:
1) Detention for 10-15 days and fine up to RMB5000.
2) Less serious case. Detention for under 5 days or fine up to RMB500.

There're also other complications as well.
1) Detainee name may be blacklisted in immigration record as a "monger".
2) Family member may be informed to bail out detainee.

Dong Fang Mei Li (东方魅力) KTV is operating as per normal.
No half naked session allowed until furthur notice.
Hostess strength is low currently due to crackdown.
No checks by Gong An on the night that I went.

Played the usual washing machine game initiated by DJ.
Overall the DJs and hostesses are very sporting and service orientated.
Eat fruits, hand you a tissue.
Eat finger food, hand you a tissue.
Come out from toilet, also hand you a tissue.

Hostesses did not pull off a fast one by escaping after doing ST.
The hostesses with my group of bros all stayed till the next morning.
One of the hostesses even offered to do 3P and gave that bro 3 shots! :D

Trademarks of Changan KTV hostesses are their obedience and willing to please attitude.
No complaints by anyone on this road trip.

The glass windows of 味千拉面 Japanese Restaurant (near Changping Bus Station) were smashed by protesters today.

A lot of riot police were tagging along with protesters as well all over the town.

CP will no longer be the same as before, this is the latest news said by the mayor of CP as the action of prostitution demolition will not be stop but an on going activity from FEB 2014 onwards. This is the latest news in chinese below.

Allow me to correct it's the mayor of Dongguan City, Yuan Bao Cheng not Changping mayor.
His deputy mayor and police chief Yan Xiao Kang is sacked in Feb 2014.

Was having a conversation with a China friend about this news yesterday.
We've come to a partial conclusion up to this phase so far.
Personal opinion only so take it with a pinch of salt.

What will happen is when the official 3 months crackdown is over.
99% of cheongsters will believe (self denial) that Dongguan will be back to business as usual and start to flock to this mecca again.
For sure Hotel owned KTVs will slowly resume business.
No KTV operator will dare to resume flower street style at least during 2014.

Dongguan Sauna re-opening can forget about it.
Haha you can KIV (keep in view) until end 2014 then discuss again.

AUTHORITIES ARE IN THE OPEN, YOU ARE IN THE DARK
My point is it'll become more dangerous then it is now.
Why is it so?
Right now there're not so many avenues to monger in Dongguan.
Only exception is you get busted in hotel room with a prostitute if you're unlucky or get reported by "bounty hunters".

However when KTVs are back in business, reporters may go undercover again and report prostitution activities.
Authorities will act and bust you plus go on a media propaganda campaign to show they're serious.

The fact is Dongguan government officials and authorities do not want to lose their fragile posts.

OVERVIEW
Currently the state of adult entertainment in Changping is very sad. There're more family tourists than punters all around town. It seems that the selling point of Changping now is the cheap hotel rooms and food & beverage options. Hotel buffets and local restaurants are a bargain if compared to Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Personally I feel Changping is in a transition period of economic revolution. In years to come this tiny part of Dongguan will evolve into a family living domain focused on domestic consumption due to its relatively cheap housing, food, integrated amenities, transport and infrastructure which is lacking in nearby towns and cities. Also the Dongguan/Huizhou Inter-City Light Rail should be up and running in 2015. Real estate prices in the future will surely increase at a faster pace. Most hotel owned KTVs have re-opened as "Family KTV". KTV room doors are modified to a see through glass panel with bigger dimensions. A convex corner mirror is also installed inside every room! Flower street will cease to exist.

KTV hostesses are not provided. The only way to get KTV hostesses is to choose via pictures from your source. Market rate from 4-8-13 and up. Take note some managers or agents may mark up the price. Engage your source wisely.

Surprisingly I find the quality is not bad these days because the lousy quality ones are automatically eliminated from the inventory due to no demand.

Similar to Changping that went more upmarket 5 years ago.

The trend is clear as more and more Dongguan Hotel/KTV staff have flocked to work in Danshui.
Since the Feb 2014 major crackdown Dongguan Hotel/KTV staff have experiment working in different cities and now they know where the money is. That is DANSHUI!

Many years ago I've planned to use Danshui as a back up base as it's like Little Changping.
ISO Travel has started serving in Danshui since 2013 even before the Feb 2014 major crackdown.
When you use the consultancy of ISO Travel you can rest assure you're ahead of the trend and enjoy the undervalue "stocks" before the mass market catches on.

With the new found demand these are exciting times as Danshui is preparing to go upmarket when a new 5 Star Hotel opens in 2015!
Veterans should remember what transformed Changping swiftly when Eurasia (Ou Ya) Hotel opens in Sep 2009.
It's only a matter of time before you see Malaysians, Singaporeans and Overseas Chinese littered all over Danshui.

As of now my team is setting up operations at an undervalue emerging destination.

Dongguan crackdown will approach its first year anniversary in Feb 2015.
Personally I believe it may take many years for Changping to recover but certainly not to former glory.
Shenzhen and Zhuhai's past is a good historical reference.
The old Changping is gone for now so either move on or give up.

If you look through the past news updates you'll notice ISO TRAVEL is a pioneer in Danshui arrangements even before the big Dongguan Crackdown in Feb 2014. Things really got picked up for Danshui only since Aug 2014 due to the slow staff migration from Dongguan to Danshui.

Without a doubt Danshui is the most popular destination currently. Our clients who have ventured to Danshui with us before Aug 2014 are qualified to their bragging rights now.

Once again ISO TRAVEL dares to be different and our analysis is to beat the trend by not doing what everyone is doing for safety and receiving better service. That being said we advise our clients to revert itinenary to Changan/Changping or Shenzhen as Danshui is getting too infamous besides the drop in service level. From time to time there are hotel room raids.

Changan/Changping KTVs have recovered a bit but no flower street. Hostess strength 50-150 per venue. Only room delivery service is available in Changping for Sauna masseuse.

ISO TRAVEL will officially shift operations to Danshui with effect from 1st Dec 2015. 6 fulfilling years of serving travel and entertainment needs for bros in Changping and now moving on to the next chapter in Danshui. Danshui is 1 hour away from Changping. The nearest Airport for international visitors is Shenzhen Baoan Airport followed by Hong Kong International Airport.

Our "headquarters" in Danshui will be at New Regent Hotel. Safe and reasonably priced room rates from ¥298 with many amenities within walking distance. Together with ISO TRAVEL this is where you can formulate battle strategies and share war stories during mission debriefs. LOL. Legend KTV is a must go KTV now followed by Emerald KTV. You still can get pretty hostesses in the category 3-8-12/4-10-15 at Legend KTV. I officially term Legend KTV the "Eurasia KTV" of Danshui. There're also many clean massages and delicious food for various budgets.

Hotel/KTV/Sauna/Transport booking is still available in Changping. Those interested in Sauna room delivery should stick to Changping and not Danshui. Stock is aplenty in Changping. Danshui is now more famous for its KTVs.

You can see competition is heating up in Danshui with competitors promoting via paid advertisements on forums. Until now ISO TRAVEL has no intention to promote via paid advertisements as our main goal is not about profits but to widen the network of friendships. This itself is PRICELESS where no money can buy. It is an honour to make so many friends worldwide in the thousands up till now. That is why you can still see me overseeing the operations personally as I am a party animal myself too! LOL.

Global economics and entertainment are intertwined. To be able to indulge in entertainment there must be disposable income. That is why you can see a huge drop in Malaysian visitors due to the crash of the Ringgit.

Yes this time the wind is considered mid strength.
The strongest wind was during Feb to Sep 2014.

Legend KTV is currently closed since 14/12/15.
Will update here once re-open for business.
All the other KTVs are still open and hostesses are available.

On 24/12/15 I was at Emerald KTV with some bros.
About 10 Gong An and Fire Department officers walked past my KTV room.
I was just sitting outside chatting with my friend calmly when they strolled past. :D

They took a peek into KTV rooms randomly.
Hahaha luckily they skipped my KTV room.

Actually there's a big dfference between raids and checks so don't use the wrong term loosely.
If it is a real raid it'll be full battle order armed with sub-automatic rifles!
Outside there'll be big buses standing by for hauling punters and girls back to police station. :eek:
I witnessed it many times before in Zhuhai and Changping over the years.
What the Gong An is doing now are random checks on KTV and Hotel rooms.

I always see some kuai lan Malaysia/Singapore/Hong Kong/Taiwan bros talk to hotel front desk reception very rudely.
Hahaha good luck to these folks as hotel front desk receptionist can decide your fate during your stay during windy weather. :D

For hotel room have a trick to minimise your risks.

No flower street in Danshui but average daily strength of 500 hostesses available in Legend and Emerald KTV per venue.

You're being over exaggerating. In Changping KTVs the maximum no. of hostesses you can see on the busiest days are around 900 at Mayflower KTV. The rest of the KTVs around 700 maximum.

Just conducted an experiment by taking a flight from Johor Bahru Senai Airport to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. Very punctual and smooth flight. Passenger load only 70%. Uses aerobridge at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.

Book 1 week before departure date for lowest rates. Overall very satisfied. Thumbs up to AirAsia for this pioneer route via Johor Bahru. :) Singaporeans/Malaysians residing in Johor Bahru can now fly cheaply to Pearl River Delta region for business or leisure. :D

Just concluded experiment by taking a flight from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Johor Bahru Senai Airport.
Very punctual and smooth flight.
Passenger load 95% due to PRC tourists! :eek:
Uses aerobridge at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.

Book 1 week before departure date for lowest rates.
Overall very satisfied with the Johor Bahru Senai Airport to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport leg.
However Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Johor Bahru Senai Airport leg was not ideal for Singapore residents so allow me to explain why.

Flight will arrive 06:50hrs at Johor Bahru Senai Airport.
You can take the Senai Airport Shuttle Service (https://causewaylink.com.my/airport-shuttle-bus) between JB Sentral/Johor Bahru Senai Airport.
RM8.00 one way/40min journey.
Frequency every 1 hour.

Those residing in Singapore will experience heavy traffic jam when crossing the Sultan Iskandar/Woodlands Checkpoint because thousands of Malaysians make their way to Singapore to work in the morning! :eek:
Took me almost 2 hours to get into Singapore KNN! :mad:

Located inside 珠海天钻假日酒店.

On average 100-200 hostesses available daily.

No more Category 300 hostesses already.
Category 400 hostesses also very few available.

Mayflower KTV will only re-open on 08/02/17.
The only KTV that has "DJs". :p

Nothing much in Changping now unless you have your own connections for KTV freelancers and Sauna room delivery service. :)

Hope all bros have a good start in the year of the rooster!

Take note generally air ticket prices and service sector will be better value after 元宵节 (11/02/17).

KTV hostess stock will only gain full strength one month after 1st day of Chinese New Year.
01/03/17 onwards is ideal for traveling to China for leisure and cheong. :)

With effect from 16/04/17 CRH Train service is available between Zhuhai Station (珠海站) and Huizhou South Station (惠州南站).
Total travel time is 2 Hours, 29 Minutes.
