Realistically, how many koreans we see in city are WLs?

This girl took me to a Korean restaurant for dinner tonight. It was rather secluded, despite being in the middle of the city. Everyone in the restaurant was Korean. There was a girl and guy sitting at the next table. I took a glance at the girl as I was leaving, and she looked at me. She looked kinda familiar...maybe I have seen her in a line up before.

Or maybe, I have just been punting too much and have lost my mind.

So realistically, bros, how many of the young Korean girls we see in the city do you think are WLs/MLs?

Really does depend, but some stats have said about 40% of Korean Working-Holiday visa girls are WL/MLs. So as a simple note, general note, your chances of seeing a Korean WL/ML is pretty high.

A bit off-topic but I had an interesting experience with a Korean girl I used to work with....

Disclaimer: I for one have nothing at all against Koreans & actually want to visit South Korea for a holiday as I find I can do many similar things in Korea which is available in Japan (but for a much lower price-tag). I am hoping that what we experienced isn't the viewpoints of all Koreans & was an isolated case.

Was good friends with her at work, joking around and pretty much always going for lunch together during breaks and one day mentioned that she wanted to go out for drinks after work. Cool, so we went to some nice quiet bars after work for chat etc which was great. I enjoyed that she could hold her own drink for drink. It was getting late so we went for Korean food for dinner (on her recommendation not mine. Up until that day I had never actually tried Korean & she wanted to treat me). Along the way through parts of George St to restaurant, we'd pass some groups of people & I'd look over & she was doing the averting eye contact with people looking sideways... She said was because she was getting dirty looks & stares by some Koreans on the streets.

At the restaurant she ordered everything but from the moment we walked into the restaurant we had A LOT of eyes on us the time we were there... Not sure if was out of interest or a more negative reasons. I'll take a gamble and say it was out of interest.
Not sure if it was because she was Korean & I was one of hte only non-Koreans in the restaurant at the time and maybe it was because we were flirting as getting more & more intoxicated. I love Soju!

Finished dinner & proceeded to go to some clubs after. We were getting pretty close and in the club dancing, me mucking around & her sometimes rubbing down my body & at one or two stages close to kissing. I noticed this & pulled away with the reason to myself that she was little intoxicated, it was the alcohol and most importantly because I knew that she was recently married & didn't want to make complicated at work or for her at her home.

Whilst we were enjoying ourselves, we sat down for a breather before some more movements on the dance floor. She pointed out a group of Korean guys in the club...
Her: "you see those guys sitting over there?"
me: "yeah? the ones that look pissed? They should go find a nice girl and go for a dance..."
Her: "they've been death starring us on the dance floor"
me: "why What is the problem?"

So we proceeded to dance and nearing the end of the night she got pretty close & it became apparent that she was interested to going further so I decided it was best if she called her husband to pick her up. I had no interest in fucking up her marriage as her husband was a good guy.

My question to bros is, is the negative vibe we received a common thing that I would experience if going out with Korean girls? In my instance we weren't even dating, we were just work friends but the fact that we were alone & that I was not Korean or even Asian seemed to be a problem for some random people who neither of us knew from a grain of salt. Why was it having any impact on her at all & why should their opinions matter? Who cares what they think?

As the starring & pretty much non-approval is kind of like a huge cock-block which I find to be unfair.

Have any other bros Asian or non-Asian had similar experiences? Is it a Korean thing?

As an Asian dude, the general consensus in the Asian community is that South Koreans are snobbish. Most Koreans I run into rarely ever mingle with anyone outside of their nationality group. Note I said MOST not ALL. And this is my personal experience. Anyone outside their demographic mingling with their women I would expect them to be a little edgey, and seeing as you're not Asian, it makes it a little more obvious and you tend to look like a 'western intruder'. When I was in Saigon, I saw old white men with young Vietnamese women, and I admit it made me a little angry too.

I remember one time I was speaking to a Korean chick at uni, and her group of penis pals were just giving me this look. Afterwards they asked her why on earth she wanted to speak to an inferior breed of Asian like me? (not exactly in that wording, but the general tone of it). Korean women are hailed as the most beautiful women in the Far East, so naturally they'll have this pride and protectiveness about their 'national treasure'. Me personally, I'm not really into the whole K-pop look. All that plastic surgery to look like a cookie cutter Barbie doll? No thanks.

At uni I do this thing where I check out the international students mainly from China, or Korea, and wonder if they're WL on the side. I wouldn't be surprised if they are. It's easy money, and my course doesn't allow you to have much time to yourself, let alone maintain a job. Some girls are so hot, I wish they were for my own selfish reasons.

I also look at regular Joe's and wonder if they're bread winner by day, and filthy punter by night.

Haha, it took me 10 days to even have a look at this thread but lots of interesting comments.

I walk around the city quite regularly and yeap, if i am along George st, Pitt and Liverpool where there are so many Korean shops, i cant help but look and think, are you a working lady??

And the fact is, a lot of young k-gals when they go out in full make up, they look and dress just like those K-Pop girls you see on SBS TV every Sunday morning, and those are very similar look to the line ups you will see in Korean FS and massage joints.

And i will go one step further and apply that line of thought to Chinese girls too, is she an outcall girl, MOC or whoever, she looks great, young slim and sexy dress, may be she is a "brand girl"?........WTF

And i was only in the city 9-5!! How about Fri/Sat nights?........ But then again, most of the suspicious WL and ML and outcall girls will be working, wont they???

Put it this way....most korean girls in the CBD go to a college of some sort. They are here with no family and no employment. How do they pay their fees? F*cking their asses off and having ugly bastards pay for their tuition at $110 p/hr. They can then work 3 days a week in a brothel and spend the rest of the time walking in Pitt st mall with LV bags shopping and spending the hard earned dollars on stuff... i say 60% are WL.

Back on topic, I think we should first establish how many WL are ACTUALLY Korean (not just advertised). There are a lot Korean expats here, and only so many shops with only so many girls. I'd say about a fraction.

I think a few ml go clubbing in the ct. Wl i think are more private. Although the krns in ct may dress like whores that is just the fashion, korean fashion all looks very similiar too so wl, civilian will dress alike. Many are on workholi or students.
