5 Star What happened to it?

Admittedly I've been on hiatus for a couple of years.

But I come back once in a while to read some AR, check some rosters, hoping to make a come back if someone strikes my interest.

However I've noticed over the past year or two, 5 Star roster was lack luster or paused. Today when I looked their website is down.

Is it as boring as they just decided to close their doors?

Such a shame because I had some of my best punts there. J Miname jumps to mind. and MAX IMPACT.

Yes, it is sad. They closed down some time during COVID. It was actually struggling even before it, with the business put up for sale at around 2019. About 2 years ago the SBM boss took over the lease of the building and now we have SGM in that location.

You can go for a nice massage and extras there for the nostalgia. I know I enjoyed the memories of all the great punts I had there just being in that building!

Ah yes, the legendary Moon. I was unfortunately unable to click with her because she reminded me of my little sister!
But yeah, had many many memorable fucks in those rooms for sure!

yeah 5 star used to be as popular as Ginza. Now Ginza has taken that podium.

Hard to know why it faded. Poor reception with Jason was a factor for me. But the apartment run by Sam was brilliant.

Yeah I liked seeing Milo there, but they stood still and Ginza cornered the market

I think it all went downhill for them very quickly after one of their guys got beaten up by Ginza guys around 2018. I'm not very sure what went down there but it looked like they waved the white flag after that event and gave up on trying to compete in Sydney. That was some bad shit that went down there. I still remember I had a booking with Alin when it happened. Turned up and found the shop all locked up along with 4 other blokes standing there in that alley looking like idiots.

One more thing I'd add about them. At around the time that they started to wrap up, they went into some sort of partnership with N5M. As I recall, the marketing material something along the lines of "introducing N5M, now being managed by 5-star".

That sort of came and went, but N5M remains as we know it. I'm not clear about what happened there as I've never been a regular of N5M, but who knows, maybe the "spirit" of 5 star lives on in N5M in some shape or form?

The building was sold on a leaseback kind of deal. The sale even made it as an article on Realestate. Pretty sure the owner must be happy with the profit.

My fave girl was Carla from HK. But too bad she wasn't there long enough.
